Mechanical engineering is one of the ever-green and ever-gold branches in the field of engineering (even in diploma or polytechnic). When it comes to India, the graduation course is called Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) , and the Master's course is called the Masters of Technology (M.Tech) or Masters of Science (MS) .

If you are so interested in Machines, Machine Tools like Lathe, Shaper, Planer, etc. Mechanical Devices like Vernier Calipers, etc. Automobile Parts and Components, etc then you can choose mechanical engineering as your stream in graduation. In India, you have professional courses like Diploma, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, etc. There are a lot of opportunities for mechanical engineers in many companies and great scope too.

How To Do Mechanical Engineering After 10th?

Coming to Diploma, we can call it polytechnic too; it is the course you can choose after your matriculation or 10th or higher education. To enter into the polytechnic you need to attempt a common entrance examination. When it comes to Telangana state, we call that entrance exam TS POLYCET (Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test), and coming to the state Andhra Pradesh, we call it as AP POLYCET (Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) similarly, every state does have its own name for its entrance exam.

How To Do Mechanical Engineering After 12th?

Talking about engineering or bachelor of technology or bachelor of engineering; it is the professional course that we can choose after our +2 or 2 years intermediate or after polytechnic. As like as polytechnic, we need to go through a common entrance test and depends upon that we can choose the colleges for admissions.

If the engineering course is under Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University then the course can be called Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or if the engineering course is under Osmania University then the course can be called Bachelor of Engineering (B.E).

List of Subjects in Mechanical Engineering:

So, whatever be the course whether polytechnic or B.Tech or B.E we do have the same subjects and maybe vary one of two. The subjects may be as follows

There will be master courses that we can choose after graduation.

Not only the state, but there are also central level exams that allows us to join in IITs, NIT’s, etc for pursuing the engineering courses. These are high-level competition based and needs high subject knowledge with a good basic concepts foundation. Every aspires of engineering should be very good at basic concepts and technical points in their subjects. It can be achieved only when the students are interested in the course so, it is suggested to the students of every course that they should be regular at classes, revising the concepts, technical points, interview questions, and referring a few subject textbooks.

If students are good at these whole things then it is very easy for every student or individual to crack any type of interview after or while pursuing the final year of graduation. So, enjoying the subject and learning the things is a must-follow exercise for every student.
